Training

Rope Access Training is competency based.

Why use R.R.A.T.S.?

We train to the Australian and International Standards.

We cover all areas of rope access and you will have to be competent & comfortable at heights.

We abseil off a 100m structure (approx. 30 stories) as part of assessment and perform rescues at 50m off the ground as is typical of a real life situation. It is common practise for other training bodies not to introduce height and to train in factories a few metres off the ground.

All R.R.A.T.S. trainers are certified trainers and assessors with a min. of 5 years rope access experience.

There are 3 commonly referred to Levels of Rope Access :

Level 1 Technician can perform rope access duties and should be supervised by a Level 2 or 3 Technician.

Level 2 Technician can perform rope access duties and supervise rope access jobs. For the limitations of a Level 2 Technician please contact us.

Level 3 Technician are commonly used in complex rope access jobs and as Team Leaders.
